Vaccine Suit Against SSA Moves On

A group of Steamship Authority employees who filed a lawsuit against the ferry line for its coronavirus vaccine requirement are getting some good news.

A panel of federal appeals judges ruled that a lower court erroneously rejected claims that the workers' rights were infringed upon.

The case is therefore being sent back for reconsideration.

The workers who were fired for standing by their religious convictions against the vaccine want their jobs back, according to their attorney.

The lawsuit was filed last year in Barnstable Superior Court.
