A missing Cape Cod boy has been located.
The Falmouth and Tisbury police departments asked for the public's help in locating 16-year-old Alex Heintz.
Authorities said Heintz left his home in Falmouth on Tuesday and was last seen departing a Steamship Authority boat on Martha's Vineyard.
An update was provided on Wednesday that indicated Heintz is safe.
We almost never receive specifics as to what happened to a missing child.
