The search for a four-year-old boy who went missing from Castle Island in South Boston Sunday night has come to a tragic end.
Officials are confirming that the body of Mohamed Fofana was located on the shore of Spectacle Island yesterday afternoon.
The island is directly across Boston Harbor from where the child was last seen playing before his grandfather lost sight of him.
Police say surveillance video shows the boy leaving a playground alone and walking towards the water.
State Police are still investigating.
