Two Indicted In Lottery Theft

The Plymouth District Attorney's Office has announced indictments against two people for a lottery ticket scheme.

Carly Nunes of Lakeville is being charged with larceny and witness intimidation, while Joseph Reddem of Manchester, New Hampshire has been charged with attempted extortion.

The D.A. says someone purchased a Massachusetts Lottery ticket that won them three-million dollars at Savas Liquors in Lakeville, but they accidentally left the ticket at the store.

Nunes and Reddem, who were employees, allegedly tried to cash the prize at the Mass Lottery headquarters.

Authorities found the true owner of the ticket by canvassing the Lakeville area.
