Nantucket Farm Applies For Commercial Marijuana Growing License

Bartlett’s Farm on Nantucket is aiming to become a commercial grower of marijuana, according to the Inquirer and Mirror.

Bartlett’s President, John Bartlett, is expected to submit an application to the Select Board this week to get the process started.

If approved, Bartlett’s would become the Island’s sole marijuana cultivator.

The farm would only be permitted to sell to island dispensaries as federal law prohibits the transport of pot across federal waters.
