The identity of the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash in Falmouth is being released.
The Enterprise reports Falmouth Police have ID’d the man killed on Friday as Michael Leis of Framingham.
The 81-year-old Leis was walking with a group of people on a sidewalk on Grand Avenue in Falmouth Heights when a car reportedly went off the road and struck him.
Leis' obituary indicates he was an electrical engineer for more than 40 years and held more than thirty original patents in hard drive technology.
