The Town of Sandwich is not putting on a Fourth of July fireworks show this year.
The Enterprise reports Town Manager Bud Dunham informed the Board of Selectmen this week that the cancelation is due to the fact that the vendor was notified weeks ago.
However, the board did vote to keep the traditional Fourth of July parade on the schedule.
Because of the pandemic, all of last year's Independence Day events in Sandwich were canceled.
