Cape Cod National Seashore Begins Reopening Plan

The Cape Cod National Seashore is gearing up for the spring season, and as the pandemic eases, staff at the national park expect more visitors this season.

Although visitor center buildings remain closed at this time, rangers will be on hand with literature, answering questions and otherwise assisting visitors.

Rangers are currently on daily duty at the Salt Pond Visitors Center in Eastham; the outdoor area at the Provinceland Land Visitors Center in Provincetown will be staffed beginning May 1st.

The park’s educational rangers are also developed virtual lessons on erosion weathering and other topics affecting the area, they are geared toward elementary age students.
