Falmouth Town Clerk Says Mail In Ballots Have Incorrect Due Date

Falmouth Town Clerk Michael Palmer says several-hundred voters received mail-in ballots for the November election with an incorrect due date.

The Enterprise reports Palmer says his office stuffed Presidential Election ballots into envelopes for the September primary which included instructions that said voters had to return the general election ballot by September 1st.

He says as soon as he realized the error, his office began replacing instructions indicating the correct date of November 3rd.
