A bill is headed to the Governor’s desk which would allow Vineyard Wind to dig up a town parking lot and bury a high voltage electric cable.
State Rep Will Crocker says the offshore power cable will go from Covell’s Beach to Old Craigville and then continue to a substation north of Barnstable on Route 6.
Barnstable is slated to get between 14 and 30-million dollars under the host agreement.
