The Yarmouth Police Department has identified the woman who was killed Tuesday night in an accident at her home on Seminole Drive in Yarmouth Port.
The YPD reports that a 9-1-1 call came into the station just before 5:30 p.m. from a man calling for help. Members of the YPD and Yarmouth Fire Department arrived at the scene and found 52-year old Deborah Reade-Kochka gravely injured. First responders provided life-saving measures and took Kochka to Cape Cod Hospital where she was unable to be revived and pronounced dead.
The preliminary investigation indicates that her husand, Donald, arrived home from work to discover his wife pinned between her 2017 Honda SUV and the garage door.
The Yarmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Mass State Police are conducting a follow-up investigation.
