BHS Principal Updates BPD Visit to School

Barnstable High School Principal, Patrick Clark, on Friday, issued a follow-up letter to the parents of his students regarding Thursday’s visit by the Barnstable Police.

In his letter, he notes, as he did in the first letter, that students and staff were not the victims of a threat and that the school was a safe and secure building.

“Communication from faculty, parents, and students identified a variety of rumors, including the presence of weapons, ammunition, student arrests, and threats to our walkout rally on March 14. Our collaborative and diligent examination of any reported concern resulted in the finding of safety and well-being for Barnstable High School.”
