The Town of Brewster will receive $86,000 in state matching grants under the Fiscal Year 2018 Department of Conservation and Recreation Partnership Program.
The funds will be used to establish a bike trail connection from Nickerson State Park and the Cape Cod Rail Trail to the Town owned Crosby Beach.
The new recreational trail will cross through DCR-owned property adjacent to the Cape Rep Theater and Crosby Mansion properties allowing visitors and local residents access to the bay side beaches at both Crosby, and Linnell Landing.
